Vet Experience for your Pup!

Pet care experience

If I’m being completely honest, the reason why I became a pet sitter was to expand my family. I consider every pet I meet as a significant addition to my circle and treat him as if he were my own. Although I do have a bit of social anxiety, I love to meet new people who share the same passion for animals that I do. It is ingrained in my personality to help others and the bonus of pet sitting is that I get to provide care for an animal in need. I not only have the desire to care for animals, I have the experience to back it up. I have taken agricultural classes that have given me hands-on exposure with large and small animals. I have also enrolled in the Allen FFA and entered the Vet Science competition. We were tested on a topics like dog/cat/exotic/swine/cattle/ovine/equine breeds, parasites, surgical/medical tools, dosage calculations and more. I also received my CVA certification while I was in school and went on to work at the same veterinary hospital that I interned at previously. Currently, I am enrolled in school to be a dog trainer and am shadowing a groomer so I can provide a wide array of pet-related services for my clients. I have two cats at home, Ciel and Bailey, and have always had dogs involved in my life. There are 15 dogs in my family and I am always receiving requests to perform nail trims, baths and minor haircuts when visiting my relatives! I find myself frequently tending to older dogs or those with special needs because of my experience working in hospitals and my ability to be patient, two traits that lend themselves well to this area of pet care. I provide excellent customer service by frequently communicating with my clients and will send photos in real time to give you peace of mind.

Victoria does an outstanding job caring for our two dogs when we are away from home. She is always dependable and takes great care of them. I would highly recommend Victoria to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Victoria’s great. We’ve used her multiply times and she is our go to! She also introduced us to our vet! Very happy with her.

Victoria was very communicative and loving with my pup. She always sent pics and took time to do the small things that mattered most to me. Would definitely use her again

Information Victoria M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know your scheduling needs, as I like having a calendar planned out as far as possible in order to adequately set expectations and accommodate my clients well. I’d also like to know the breed of your pup (don’t worry – I love pit bulls!) and overall temperament. I prefer to schedule meet and greets first to go over any questions you might have and ensure our Rover relationship is top notch.

A typical day

A typical day includes a healthy mix of walks around the neighborhood, snuggles, belly rubs, treats, playtime and trips to the dog park, if allowed. I live in a spacious apartment with cool AC in the summer and heat in the winter. My complex has two separate dog parks that offer water fountains, agility courses and a separate fenced area dedicated to small dogs only. There is also a self-serve bath tub and hair dryer, and plenty of grassy areas for pups to roll around and play in!
