I have been an animal lover ever since I came out of the womb! I moved to Chicago from Texas for graduate school almost two years ago. I have experiencing raising and taking care of my family dog, Sandy, who lives with my parents back home in Texas. I got her when she was just a six-week old pup and she is now 11 years old, so I know what it's like to care for a puppy, young and adult dog, and senior dog. I also have my cat, Luna, here in Chicago with me and have had cats my whole life (I used to feed and name all the stray cats back home). So with that said, I am experienced in caring for both dogs and cats and would love to care for your fur babies! I can take your dog(s) out for walks, play with them, provide them with food and water, clean up after them, and check in on them if you need me to. I can provide the same care for cats. I also have no problem doing overnight stays. My love and passion for animals is at an extreme level and I believe I literally have a maternal instinct when it comes to caring for any pet. I understand how they can be like your children because that is how I view my own fur babies; they are my children. As a sitter and walker, you can trust me to take care of your dog(s) and/or cat(s) the same way I take care of mine. I also promise to give your fur babies all the love and attention that they all deserve! P.S. I love cuddles!

Information Victoria L. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences; I love any and all dogs and cats! The only thing I would like to know before sitting a dog or cat is if they are friendly around other people and/or animals. This is solely for me to determine the precautions I would need to take when walking them in order to keep your dog and other dogs and people safe.
A typical day
I will take your fur babies out on walks at safe parks and trails in the city. If your dog is comfortable being around other dogs, I will also walk them in and around dog parks so they can have more space to walk and sniff. I love playing with dogs and will engage your fur babies in fun activities such as fetch, tug o' war, and brain stimulating games (i.e., hiding an approved treat for them to find). If you have a cat, I can also play with them if they want to play (I know some cats prefer to be left alone). If they are an active and playful cat, I can engage them in play with any cat toys you may have.

Availability
I’m currently a clinical psychology graduate student and diagnostician so I have a schedule that varies, however, I definitely can make time for your fur babies! I’m available to do drop-ins/house sit/overnight stays at any time Fridays-Sundays. I can also do drop-ins Mondays-Thursdays after 6:30 pm.
