Pet care experience
I currently have 2 dogs. Yesenia is a 4 year old yellow lab that I trained as a puppy to be a service dog. She is very smart and obedient but was released from professional training because she is a little uneasy on stairs! I also have a 2 year old rescue named Gracie. Yesenia is her best friend in the whole world! Unfortunately my family just lost our almost 14 year old yellow lab to cancer (we had her since I was 11!). She was the Queen of the house and we miss her dearly ❤️ I am experienced with taking care of dogs of all ages (including elderly), obedience training, and caring for/playing with/walking multiple dogs at once.

A typical day
I like to take dogs on long walks through the neighborhood. I am also a runner and am always looking for dogs who like to go on runs with me. I also make sure to give dogs plenty of play time and time to run around with toys. One of my favorite places to go on walks is on the towpath by the C&O canal.

Availability
I’m currently a part-time graduate student at the University of Maryland, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets. My classes are on Wednesday evenings, so anything on Wednesday would have to be before 3pm, but my schedule is quite flexible otherwise!
