Giant Breeds are my passion
Pet care experience
I have a bachelors degree in biology and an associates in zoo technology. I have cared for several species of animals including exotics, aquatics, livestock (mainly horses, alpacas, goats, and sheep), small animals, cats, and dogs of all sizes from Pomeranians to Great Danes. I have 2 Great Danes of my own that I love dearly. My experience with dogs is extensive and I’ve worked with them in many different environments. I worked as a dogs trainer, where I worked with many different behavioral cases as well as giving puppy lessons. I’m currently working at an animal shelter where I work with many different breeds with personalities that differ as well. I'm passionate about what I do and I strive to give the best quality care at an affordable price. If you have dogs and farm animals that need to be watched while you're away I would be more than willing to work out a solution with you. If you have specific questions please feel free to contact me.
Reviews
Tory did a great job with Lily! I returned to a calm cat and a clean house, and she also took care of my trash and recyclables. Highly recommend!
Victoria takes wonderful care of our large greater Swiss mountain dog, Luka! She keeps us updated with videos and photos. We are able to get away while knowing our furry family member is in great hands! We will be using her services regularly!?
Victoria was great with dropping in on my two cats while I was away for the week. Highly recommend!!
Victoria did a great job. She took care of our pup and made sure he was walked and well loved while we enjoyed a quick weekend away. Would absolutely book again!

Safety, trust & environment
Since I have a dog who is dog reactive safety is always my number one priority! When out for walks I always make sure that your dog is leashed and walking within a 4 foot bubble (This way they can still get their smells but they are still close enough to me that I have control just in case something comes out of the blue). I will not let dogs who do not know each other interact unless given permission from the owner. I know dog behavior since I was a dog trainer for a while and worked with many behavior modification cases.
Information Victoria H. would like to know about your pet
For me it is important to know the most I can about your dog that way I can make sure they are happy and safe while you're away. Some important things to know are if your dog has food allergies, behavioral issues (reactivity, bite history, aggression, anxiety), and typical schedule!
A typical day
For me it is important to make sure a dog is stimulated and having fun but in a controlled environment. I like to take my dogs to local parks as well as hiking trails, these are also places that I would take your dogs to get their daily sniffs in! In the spring and summertime I like to take my client dogs out to get ice cream and go on car rides with the windows cracked open! I'm also a great ball thrower and rope tugging partner for those high energy dogs who love to play all day!
