Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Vic, I’m 27 years old and from Chicago. I have been working full time in the pet care industry for 5 years and have professional experience as a dog trainer, walker, and sitter. I am certified in pet CPR, first aid, and I am comfortable and confident administering medications (oral and injections) to animals. I also have experience fostering cats and kittens for a local rescue (Hyde Park Cats). I am currently on Rover for supplemental income, in addition to my full time job. Because of my full time job taking up the majority of my time, I can only offer a couple Rover visits per day.
Reviews
Victoria was amazing - highly recommend! Our senior cat was taken care of so well, instructions were followed, and the communication and updates were great.
This was Victoria's first set of drop in visits for Joy, my cat who has some special needs (insulin injections twice daily). Victoria was organized, paid attention to details, and sent fun and reassuring updates about how her visits were going. She did a wonderful job with Joy, and I came home to a relaxed and happy cat. Will book again!
Victoria took wonderful care of my kitties and definitely eased my anxiety about leaving them alone while I went out of town! Victoria would send detailed updates and took their time with getting to know and play with my cats. Even my shy girl Cleo—who doesn’t easily warm up to strangers—was asking Victoria for pets within the first few visits! I’m so glad I chose Victoria as my first Rover sitter!
Victoria was my first Rover booking & will now be my permanent go-to-sitter! She’s amazing with animals, sends the best daily updates (some of my favorite pictures of my cat are from Victoria, haha!), and she truly cares about your pet’s well-being. My cat and I are very thankful for a great sitter like Vic :)
About Victoria G.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am very tidy and respectful of my clients' homes. Safety is a priority of mine as well; I will always double check that your doors are locked and that keys are secure when entering and exiting your home. I clean all food bowls between uses, refresh water bowls daily, scoop litter boxes daily, and sweep up and take the trash outside on the last visit of each pet sit. For dog walks, I always carry an extra leash for security. I am also certified in pet CPR.
Information Victoria G. would like to know about your pet
If your pet has any weird quirks, triggers, or fears that I should be aware of, please let me know! If they are shy and needs extra love and attention to warm up to new people, that’s not a problem.
A typical day
I primarily focus on cat visits as the timing is generally more flexible, versus daily weekday dog walks and sitting. For cats and dogs in need of drop in visits (that don’t go on walks), I love utilizing enrichment toys that stimulate your pets' mind in addition to providing physical exercise through interactive play.

Availability
I’m currently working a full time job on weekdays and occasionally on weekends. My schedule fluctuates on a daily basis, some days are busier than others. Because of this, I can only offer 1-2 Rover visits per day. I can be flexible on the timing of visits, depending on the dates requested. I book my visits in 2 hour time windows, unless there is a medical reason that the time window needs to be smaller (in those cases, I book the visit with a 1 hour time window).
