There's no need to fret while going on vacation, a day trip, or just a night out when your canine or feline family member is in my care. I am a California Veterinary Medical Association Certified Veterinary Assistant currently working at a local veterinary clinic and also furthering my education to become registered as a veterinary technician. I have been caring for animals of many different species all my life: dogs, cats, birds/poultry, rabbits, pigs, cattle, horses, snakes, lizards, ....and the list goes on! Animal comfort and welfare is of utmost importance in my day-to-day life, especially while caring for your pet.

Hi! Victoria is a great dog sitter, I have three dogs (each being fairly young with a one year old husky being the youngest) and they are very playful and energetic. I have had no problems whatsoever, and I highly recommend her to dogsit for anybody else who needs a sitter! She's awesome!

From having hermit crabs as a small child, to farm animals and livestock in high school, as well as domesticated animals, it is a privilege to have gained experience with so many different amazing creatures. I hope to provide all of my future clients with a trusting service, as well as expand my horizons to many different dogs(or whatever animal you might need help caring for!). It is a strong belief of mine that all of our canine friends are special and unique in their own way, and deserve to get the proper care that is unique to their own needs.

Please let me know if your pet needs as medications or specialty care. My extensive background in veterinary pharmacology allows me to safely administer a large variety of medications, as well as perform certain treatments.
A typical day
Living in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains, going on hikes and nature walks is one of my favorite pass-times. Any appropriate beach as well as areas such as Henry Cowell and Big Basin are among some of the place I would be happy to frequent with your dog, unless requested otherwise. I will always evaluate/inquire about the capabilities of your dog, and format a hiking route or walk best suited for them.

Availability
Currently I work 10-hour shifts 4 days per week. However, since this time is spent at a pet clinic, often times I am able to bring my clients' pets along with me. If your pet isn't keen on being home alone, you can rest assured that when under my care and with me at my day job, Fido will be loved and acknowledged all day by not only myself, but my fellow veterinary nurses and doctors as well. Outside of work, I am available for overnight stays and drop in visits after 5PM.
