When I look into a dogs eyes I can see their intelligence. Dogs have consciousness - just like humans. They also have their personalities, quirks and funny things they do. Whenever possible I include them in what I'm doing. While sitting at the computer there are chairs next to me for them to sit in or they may sit in my chair with me if there is enough room. Inside the home there are 2 comfortable couches they are allowed on. And in the sun room there are padded chairs for their comfort also. Since my backyard is not fenced I have long ropes so they have plenty of room to roam but don't go too far. My husband is disabled and rarely leaves the house so if I need to go somewhere there is usually someone here with them.
