Fun, safety & lots of pics/updates!

Pet care experience

I'm Tori, a long-time animal lover who has cared for pups and cats with all kinds of personalities and backgrounds - from tiny teacup Malteses to large Great Danes, calm to hyper, social to shy, easygoing to anxious/excitable, and everything in between. Being with animals brings me joy, so I’m happy to walk, drop in, or sit for yours - and I would care for your pet as though they were my own big baby Blue!

Tori was awesome! Our energetic puppy stayed with Tori for four nights and had a great time playing with Tori and her dog Blue (who was very friendly). She took great care of our pup and we would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a communicative, friendly dog sitter!

Victoria is great!! Super reliable, flexible and just overall easy to work with. As for the pups, I know they're having the best time whenever they're with her cuz I get consistent updates throughout - without even having to ask, which is amazing. Plus, I end up with so many great photos of them and all the fun being had :)

Hunter stayed with Tori for 5 nights over Thanksgiving and had the best time!! Tori is detail oriented and asked a lot of questions to ensure that Hunter would have a good experience. She sent so many pictures, videos and updates and even made Hunter a doggie-safe Thanksgiving meal! I would absolutely book with Tori again- I felt so relieved to know that Hunter was so well taken care of and having fun while I was out of town!

Tori was awesome. Super easy to work with and did great with my dog (who can be a bit of a handful). Will definitely rebook! Would recommend her to anyone.

Safety, trust & environment

— Going out with your pet — To provide additional enrichment for your pet, we'll go on walks to explore the neighborhood - or maybe even take a field trip to the lake, the park or downtown! On walks, I keep a close eye on pets to ensure they are safe at all times (I'm familiar with puppies going through the "eat everything" phase). I'm conscious of the environment and pets' reactivity to other humans, animals, construction or other potentially exciting things, and I'm able to walk dogs that pull on leash, keeping them close and calm. — Pet care & schedule — With my own dog and those I'm caring for, pet care is fully integrated into every part of my life - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I work from home with a lot of flexibility, so I’m able to accommodate your pet's schedule and needs. I also understand how important reinforcement of training can be in all environments for dogs in particular, so in addition to providing a safe and fun environment for your pup to enjoy, I’m able to reinforce any training that you may be working on with them. I would love to hear from you about the unique personality, behaviors and needs of your pet so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible and return them home happy and well cared for!

— The perfect home for Blue and any pet friends who come to stay — Outdoors, pets can spend plenty of time in our fenced backyard, where our dog Blue enjoys playing, sniffing and running around every day. We also have a covered patio where we often enjoy working, eating and hanging out outside, which offers shade, ceiling fans and a cooling dog cot for pups on hot days! Indoors, while your pet is welcome to hang out around the house, we also have a large, comfortable room your pet would have to itself with plenty of space, lots of toys and an abundance of natural light - especially for downtime or during humans-only outings. At home, we keep as tidy of an environment as possible - keeping away / out of reach any items that shouldn't be played with or eaten so pets can have the safest space to enjoy and explore.
