Pet care experience
I think most animals want attention, particularly when their parents are busy or out of town. When I take care of my parents cats, one cat really just wants me to sit there so he can cuddle up next to me, or give him lots and lots of petting time. I've had two diabetic cats, and take care of another diabetic cat too, and I'm comfortable giving them insulin shots.

Victoria was a big help to take care of our cats while we were on our vacation. The house and cats looked fine when we were back. We are going to use her again in future.
Victoria did a great job for us!! She really took great care of our dog and cat with lots of activity and chillin too. She was really good about sending us pictures so we could see how everything was going. I hope she’s always available when we need her!!
As is the case for most pet owners, they are our babies. We won’t let just anyone stay with them. When we lived in Paducah, KY, Victoria Caldwell was our go-to person for all things pet sitting. At that time, we had three dogs and a cat. Victoria stayed with our babies in our home. Your pets will tell you is you found a good person. They don’t fake love or disdain. The true testimonial is how joyfully they greeted her. Can’t give Victoria enough kudos. If we still lived in Paducah, she’d still be our person.

I want you to set out the rules that work best, if your dog likes short walks, long walks, car rides, or is comfortable just going out in the yard. Does you cat have a specific number of belly rubs (mine prefers 2 1/2... two isn't enough, 3 is too much). An added benefit of having someone drop by your house once or twice a day is to get the mail, water the plants if you're gone more than just a day or two, and keep an eye on things if anything were to go wrong in the house. I am very sensitive to the smell of smoke, and will not be able to stay overnight in homes where anyone smokes inside.

A typical day
I am more of a cat person, and each cat seems to have their own favorite games to play. A cat we had several years ago loved to play fetch with milk rings or hair ties. My current cat loves a bumblebee toy on a string. I tend to get along best with lower-energy or senior dogs where we can take a nice stroll though the neighborhood to check out the smells. For both cats and dogs, I like to be able to give them personal attention with lots of petting.

Availability
I would be available in the mornings between 7:30-8:30 am, my lunch time is flexible and I have an hour where it would be easy for me to check in on pets during this time. I'm also available after 5:30 pm and most weekends.
