Pet care experience
I have a miniature poodle at home that I’ve nurtured for over 10 years, and I’ve had my experience with caring for other dogs and cats for about 6 years. I’ve taken care of infant puppies, smaller miniature dogs, golden retrievers, and very calm pitbulls. I’ve also helped care for sick animals that need more attention. I’m currently in school working towards becoming a wildlife ecologist, so working with animals and understanding their psychology is one of my biggest passions.

My house is located in a dog-friendly neighborhood on about 1/2 acre of land. We do not have a fence currently but we have two big trees in our yard and they will be taken on walks around the neighborhood daily. Most of our neighbors also have dogs or are dog lovers, and there are frequent dog walkers throughout the day. As far as my dog is concerned he’s very small (14 lbs) and mostly friendly, he can get shy or scared around larger dogs but as long as they don’t intimidate him he gets along well. So as long as your dog is friendly he should be very happy!

I love all dogs and breeds. However I am about 5’2 and pretty small, so if your dog is on the larger/stronger side and is pretty hyperactive, for the safety of your dog and me, I might not be the best sitter. If your giant baby is pretty calm, then we’re good! I’ve sat golden retrievers and large pits, but they were all trained very well and listened to commands.

Given the current Covid-19 situation, I am currently working from home, so most of my time is spent at home. I am mostly flexible I just ask that you are honest and tell me things beforehand so I can always make sure you animal is safe.
