Pet care experience
I love dogs and miss having one in my life, so would love to take care of your dog! I’ve taken care of many dogs in the past 10 years. After our Jack Russell passed away of old age (15 years), I focused on fostering dogs different breeds prior to moving to Sweden. My partner and I have fostered 3 shelter dogs and found each of them a loving family to be their forever homes. I have also helped a family member take care of her dog when the dog had a spinal cord injury and lost all movement of her back legs. I helped with her physiotherapy and took her on “walks” when she couldn’t move very easily. She ended up regaining her leg movements and now lives a happy and joyful life. I am known among my close friends as the person who comes over to visit and ends up spending more time playing with their dogs than hanging out with my friends. I have experience with senior dog care, puppy care, mobility issues, and administering medicine.

Victor is a fantastic pet-parent. Ever since I have known him, he has made his love for dogs known, and has backed this up by being a fantastic caregiver. I have left my own dog Oreo in Victors care multiple times when I was away, and absolutely trust him to treat any dog as he would his own. Victor loves his pets and would do anything for them, and also has a knack for training. After fostering multiple dogs, he has learned to deal with behavioral issues through positive reinforcement. Victor has experience with dogs in multiple stages of life, and provided a fantastic environment for his dog Patches before she passed away at 15. Victor did everything possible to keep Patches happy and healthy in her later years. Victor will always put the dogs needs first, and will be willing to work hard to make sure they have a the best possible life.

I live in an apartment in a quiet area of the city. There are many parks close by where I can walk your dog during the day. We don’t have kids, and my partner and I keep the apartment clean, so it will be a safe environment for your dog. We don’t have any other dogs at home and only take one dog at a time. I will always use a leash with your dog.

A typical day
We’ll go on walks around my quiet neighborhood and to nearby parks. We can visit a nearby dog park if your dog likes that. They will get lots of cuddles and attention throughout the day.

Availability
I work from home, so have flexibility to take your dog on walks and take play breaks with them throughout the day. On a typical work day, I could do 2-3 short walks throughout the day or one longer one (~45min) during lunch. On work days, I prefer to take low to medium energy dogs that are ok spending some independent time too. I’ll be home with them the whole day, but will need focused time for work as well. :)
