I just completed my second year of veterinary school at Cornell University. Before that I worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years and before that as a wildlife field biologist for 2 years. I have always enjoyed the company of animals and from my experiences I have learned so much about animal behavior and physiology. As a veterinary technician who worked in the city I have a lot of experience caring for animals and walking dogs on busy city streets. I know the dangers of chicken bones and other tempting items on the street and know how to remove them quickly from a sneaky dogs mouth. I am very attentive and know the signs of inter-dog aggression and how to avoid it. I'm also a pretty fit person and would be happy to go on runs with your dog or could just keep to a lazy stroll for the low energy doggos. I have a ton of experience with all kinds of animals so if you need someone that can play with your cat or entertain your bird during my visit I am your guy. I am also comfortable with giving your pet oral/injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, baths and pedicures assuming that they are reasonably compliant.
