Everyone seems to be a dog walker these days, but do they all truly love dogs? I know I do! When I was 8 years old I was bit on the lips by a neighborhood dog and they had to put me in a papoose to give me stitches. My parents got me to lay still by offering me money. When the procedure was over the nurse asked me what I was going to do with the money and without hesitation I said, “I’m going to buy my own dog”! This is a testament to how much I LOVE dogs!!!! I have been walking dogs ever since as side jobs for the last 35 years for friends, neighbors and clients. Periodically, I board my friends’ dogs. I am an energetic, extremely reliable and a responsible mother of two teenagers and a Rhodesian Ridgeback who is six years old. I live across the street from a neighborhood park and spend countless hours walking dogs (big and small), so much so that I have been referred to as the Mayor or the Park. Some of my dog walking clients reside in Willow Glenn, Almaden Valley, Cambrian Park, Rose Garden and Santa Teresa. I would love the opportunity to walk your dog/s in San Jose and the surrounding areas with a focus on South San Jose, along the highway 85 and 87 corridors, with an occasional tip to Rio Del Mar and Fort Funston in San Francisco for some beach time.

Vicky is awesome and I will definitely ask her to help me out again when the need arises. I have 2 dogs of my own and a 3rd foster dog. I needed dog walking help because I was also dog-sitting for friends who adopted a bonded pair of my former foster dogs, so I had 5 dogs to take care of for a week. I handled three of the dogs on the walks, and Vicky handled the other two. She was on time everyday and rolled with all of the craziness that ensued! We had great conversations and exchanged lots of stories and ideas on our outings. It was a very pleasant experience and I was grateful for her help!
Vicky was very helpful when we needed a dog walker for our pets on a very short notice. Our fur babies instantly loved her and had very good time walking with her. Vicky was always on time and super responsive and took our dogs for nice long walks and have them enjoy their mid-day break. We've been using Vicky for several months now to walk our two dogs (3 yr and 13 yr shih tzus) during the day while we're at work and we couldn't be happier with her. She's everything you want when you are trusting someone to enter your home and look after your fur-kids. She's very organized, responsive and informative, always keeping us up to date on any schedule changes and delivering thoughtful rover cards at the end of each visit, full of great pictures! You know after talking to her a bit that she really cares for dogs and their well-being, taking note of their individual personalities and adjusting what she does based on their respective needs. She also is very thoughtful and gives them fresh water and leaves their full #2 bags in our outdoor garbage. It's amazing how these sorts of small things make for an easy, stress-free experience. We feel very safe leaving our pups in her care! Thanks Vicky for the peace of mind!
