Hey there, I am a 25 year old psychology student in Aberdeen. Originally I am from Germany, which is where my family's 14 year old mixed breed Lara is right now. Because she lives so far away I unfortunately don't see her very often. She can be quite a handful, as she is a rescue dog, and it is unknown to us or her previous owners (who only had her for two weeks) how she grew up. Apparently she had some bad experiences with other dogs, which is why she barks at them as soon as she sees them... Hence, I do have some experience with more challenging behaviour as well. Even though she is a darling and 1000% loyal once she trusts you. Dogs have been a part of my life for a long time, whether that was my best friend's dog, my neighbour's dog, or my own. I myself am a highly sensitive person, which has helped me understand animals better, and be responsive to their needs. I live together with my partner David who has three (yes, 3) sausage dogs at home in Australia and grew up with dogs as his family bred Dachshunds for a long time. He is just as fond of dogs as I am and will give them lots of attention when he meets them. We would be happy to take care of your 4 legged friend and give them the same attention and care we would for our own dog! We live near the beach, and there are some beautiful walks nearby. Cocnerning time and visits I am flexible and spontaneous, however, I don't drive, meaning I am not very flexible area wise.
