Over the rainbow fur-friend care

Pet care experience

Aloha, I am Vicky. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets whilst caring for family and friends’ pets, along with jobs and volunteering.

Cheyanne is a very kind, caring person who takes amazing care of fur babies. She has taught our new 8 week old puppy, and the baby has already mastered many tricks. Cheyanne is Loving and Compassionate , give her a call for your fur babies needs, you will not be disappointed in fact you will be amazed!

Aloha, Working with Vicky is a joy! She is dependable and responsible in her commitments. I found she works well alone and with others(myself). I run a cleaning business and know she helped me keep it up and running even during the ups and downs of tourism through covid. She is thorough and reliable in tasks while keeping a great spirit even in the crummiest of situations. House cleaning and property management can be a not so inviting position, as I know dog sitting has its moments also. Because she raised her pup and kitten while coming to work and bringing them with her at times, I know she is mindful and considerate. I hope you find her as trustworthy and cognizant with all pups left in her care!

Information Vicky Cheyanne M. would like to know about your pet

Has your dog ever bolted out the door, exhibited food aggression, are they a digger, are they a jumper, or do they ever eat things they shouldn’t?  Does your animal have triggers and if so what are they and how might I calm or comfort them? What commands do they already know? How is the pet's temperament in general and towards other animals, people, strangers, and children? What are their favorite toys, games, treats, and activities? What are the feeding habits and schedule? Will you want me to take animal to any appointments? (ex. Vet, grooming, play dates, etc.) Are there any medical issues or medication that needs to be administered at a scheduled time? Are there any activities you would prefer or dislike me not engaging? (Grooming habits, high intense or not intense enough ativities, areas to avoid?) Is there preferred Walking routes?  Is your animal car trained? Is your animal kennel trained? Is your animal potty trained? Is your animal leash trained?

A typical day

Dog Training (Basic Obedience, Behavior Modification & Agility), Dog Walking, Daily Visits, Potty Breaks, Dog Park Trips, Pet Taxi, Dog Field Trips, Hikes. Mental stimulation is more effective at tiring dogs out than physical exercise alone. Your dog or cat will receive a customized activity based on his or her unique needs. Activities in this category include destination walks, fun activities (examples include but not limited to, scent work games, puzzle games, and field trips (to dog-friendly stores or locations)).Potty break included. This is the best option for every dog, but is especially perfect for those busy dogs who are over the top, or for reactive dogs who need more support than a neighborhood walk can provide. More Activities may include dog parks, parks where dogs can be leashed, hiking trails that are approved for dogs, areas with public fountains, etc. and areas where the dog has not been and can smell other dogs. Cat and activities include stimulating games, loves and cuddles along with routine behavior and tricks.
