Reviews
Vicki is incredible with my pups. She reinforces the boundaries I set with my dogs, supporting the training I spent so much time on. I don't trust a lot of people with my dogs, but I trust her to keep them happy and safe.
Vicki is amazing with pets and also honest and reliable. I can't recommend her work strongly enough. No way I'd choose someone else after Vicki—plus, there's the way the dogs just love her. If they were the judges, I know they'd choose her, too.
Vicki is trustworthy and a very gentle and honoring lover of pets and people. She listens and pays close attention to details so she can care for your precious ones well and give them the unique and specific care they need. I trust her with my pets and she is one that you'd actually feel comfortable having in your home, I even allow her into my business dealings because she deals so honestly and straight forward.
Vicki is very accountable, communicative, responsible and caring. Hard - working person and always does their best. Amazing dog handling skills. Would highly recommend them!

Information Vicki R. would like to know about your pet
Before I start caring for your fur baby, it's essential that I gather some key information about your pets I'll be watching. Here's a checklist of things you I'd like you to list out for me: Basic Information: Get details about each pet's name, age, breed, and any distinguishing characteristics. Health and Medical Needs: List any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions they have. Also, contact information for your vet and any medications they might need. Behavioral Traits: Teach me about their temperament, habits, likes, and dislikes. Are they shy or outgoing? Do they have any triggers that make them anxious or aggressive? Feeding and Dietary Requirements: I'd like to understand their feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any specific dietary needs they have. Exercise Routine: Please let me know how much exercise they need and what activities they enjoy. Some pets may require daily walks or play sessions to stay happy and healthy. House Training: If applicable, list out about their house training routine and any specific instructions for bathroom breaks. Emergency Contacts: Please have additional emergency contact information, as well as animal hospital phone number and location in case of an emergency. Favorite Toys and Comfort Items: Teach me about their favorite toys, blankets, or other comfort items that can help them feel at ease in your absence. House Rules: Understand any rules or restrictions you've set for your fur babies, such as areas of the house that are off-limits or specific training commands you use. By gathering this information upfront, I'll be better prepared to provide the best possible care for the pets I'm watching and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for them.
A typical day
When it comes to hanging out with furry friends, the possibilities are endless! Here are a few fun activities I might enjoy with the pets I'm watching: Outdoor Adventures: Taking dogs for walks in the park, hiking trails, or even a trip to the beach if they enjoy water. Playtime: Engaging in interactive games like fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek to keep them mentally stimulated and physically active. I find some cats love lazer chace games too! Training Sessions: Implementing some basic obedience training or teaching them new tricks can be both fun and rewarding. Yes, even for cats, they can play find the treat, or even come when their name is called... if they really want to. LOL Pampering Time: I love sitting on the floor giving them a relaxing grooming session, brushing them, even nail trims, and maybe a spa day with a gentle bath if they're up for it. Snuggle Sessions: Providing plenty of cuddle time for those pets who enjoy human affection of course. Consent is important with furry people too! Creative Activities: Engaging their minds with puzzle toys or DIY treat-dispensing games can be a blast. Exploring Nature: If it's safe and appropriate, exploring new environments like nature trails or a pet-friendly garden can be enriching. Quality Time Indoors: Sometimes, a cozy day indoors with some toys and a good movie (or at least some calming music) can be just what's needed. Ultimately, it's about tailoring the activities to each pet's personality, preferences, and energy levels while ensuring their safety and happiness.
