Pet care experience
Many people say that they’re animal lovers, but I have the experience to back it up! I love everything about dogs and do everything I can to ensure the pups under my care are happy, healthy and secure. They are such special and sweet creatures, with unique personalities, so I love being able to experience a wide variety of furry pals! That’s why being a Rover sitter is so fun - I get to meet so many new people and pups. I’ve owned three herding dogs as an adult and all three of them competed in either obedience or agility. After they passed away, I turned to supporting rescue animals. I specialize in walking large, jumpy and overactive dogs for the Humane Society as a Doggy Day Out volunteer, work in the shelter as part of the dog socialization team and have fostered cats for a local rescue. I would be happy to care for any and every animal you might have. I will do everything I can to provide extraordinary customer service while you are away. Friends often describe me as trustworthy, savvy and loving, and I apply all those traits to my work in animal care as well. I will give you plenty of photos and updates while you’re away so you know your baby is under the best care possible. I also promise to do a ton of pampering, spoiling, walking and playing while you are away!

Vicki is my go to sitter for all my travels and I’m so happy when she’s available to take care of my pooches. They are so well cared for by her and i get plenty of updates and pictures!! I’d give 10 stars if that was an option.
Vicki was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is definitely among the best dog sitters we have ever had and I recommend her to everyone! She spent a long weekend house sitting our 100lb dog. Our dog is not the easiest to handle, but Vicki not only managed him well but also expressed to us several times how much she enjoyed his company. She noticed during her stay that he doesn't love being home alone and offered to work from home to spend more time with him - she even stayed longer on her last day at our house to decrease the time between when she left and when we got home. Vicki is reliable and very communicative. She did the meet-and-greet with our dog several months before the scheduled stay so she reached out to us offering to come over again to say hi to our dog to make sure he remembered her and still felt comfortable. Vicki asked us how often we wanted to be contacted when we were away to make sure we were happy with the level of communication. She sent us regular texts telling us all about what our dog was doing and about any slight updates to her daily schedule. Vicki left our home in pristine condition and even washed her sheets. When we got home, it was evident that our dog loved his time with Vicki and we will DEFINITELY use her again.
Vicki is simply the very best pet sitter. Clean house, updates often and very loved pets! Can’t say enough great things. A++

Please give me any details that will make my time with your pup go as smoothly as possible. These include things like normal level of activity (is your dog a couch potato or a ball of energy—I can handle both), medication needs, anxiety level, etc.
A typical day
A typical day would include lots of exercise, cuddling and playing, with each of those activities adjusted to your pup’s usual levels. The best thing about South Bay is that it’s a really dog-friendly place with wonderful walking trails, creeks, paths and parks. I would love to bring your dog around all my favorite spots, or we can stick to the ones he is more comfortable with, just let me know! I am currently only booking for overnight housesitting assignments where I stay in your home. I do work full-time during the day and would use the same schedule as I did for my own dogs which meant taking a walk in the morning, taking a walk after work or playing a favorite game, and then ending with one more walk before bed.
