I have over 24 years of hands-on experience – or should I say 50 years if we count that I have had pets since I was 8! My journey includes roles at a pet resort, grooming shop, and extensive volunteer work as a foster parent for rescue groups. As a devoted pet parent myself, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy caregiver for your cherished pets, aiming to provide you with peace of mind throughout your time away. I have a soft spot for our wise and wonderful senior dogs, and my expertise extends to caring for dogs requiring medication, as well as those with timid personalities or separation anxiety. Education-wise, I proudly hold Double Certification in First Aid and CPR for Pets and am honored to be a Certified Professional Pet Sitter – marking a triple certification in the devoted care I extend to your cherished fur babies. Outdoor playtime is always supervised, with no pup left unattended. Inside, I've set up baby gates to prevent any unexpected dashes towards the front door. Your dogs will find plenty of cozy spots and ample room to feel comfortable and at ease. For meal times, furry friends are separated so they can have their own area to eat. Understanding their personality with other dogs is particularly important since I do host multiple dogs from various families. I want to make sure everyone gets along and enjoys their stay. Also if they go on walks are they are leash-aggressive. Identifying any special needs, quirks, or unique preferences helps me tailor their stay to their individual requirements. And of course, ensuring the well-being of all furry guests includes checking their vaccination records. It's all about creating a loving and safe environment where every dog feels at home.
