Our family loves dogs and your small dog is welcomed here (up to 35 lbs). We will spoil your dog - we only work with one client and their dog(s) at a time (we can handle up to 3 of your dogs if they are under 35 lbs and they get along with each other already). This means there are no other client's dogs at our house during the length of your dogs stay. Some people prefer this type of situation for their dogs. I know I did for my own dog. I enjoy caring for dogs and find it interesting to get to know different dog personalities. I have lived in Seattle over 20 years and my dog care business provides a safe comfortable environment for your dog. Your dog will roam freely in our large gathering place, kitchen, and be part of the family, while having their own cozy bed in the kitchen corner. Doggies have two yards : a fenced in side yard (glorified dog run) and a large fenced in back yard to also run around in (both with a mix of sun and shade). My neighbor across the street also works with Rover 'dog clients' - Sasha (Rover.com - "Golden Retriever Paradise) specializes in Golden Retrievers. We offer each other support, in addition to Rover.com's great support. I was raised by schnauzers and I am most familiar with small and medium sized dogs. My last beloved dog was a Shar-Pei & Thai Ridgeback mix - 50 lbs. I am not a professional trainer so I do ask that people only contact me if their dog only mildly misbehaves. We do not have our own pets at this time. Experience administering medication: Yes, pills, ointment etc. (except drugs administered by needles) Dogs we do not accept: We do not take in aggressive dogs, biters, markers or excessive barkers/ for my doggie client's protection as well as my family's. I also specifically do not take in Pit Bulls, sorry. I am too unfamiliar with them and I would want them to get the best care possible. Lastly, feel free to call us with any questions you may have.
