Pet care experience
I have connected with nature and animals since early childhood. Growing up on a farm, I was always surrounded by pets of different kinds. I went on to study and work in Agricultural Engineering and often worked in the field, where pets remained an important part of my life. I relocated to California earlier this year and have a 14 yo Labrador named Siggy. Your friend will feel welcome at our home (above Lake Merrit or taking walks around the lake). I have a friendly calm personality and animals feel happy and calm around me.

I was so grateful that Veysel agreed to watch Milo so quickly and with late notice. I received updates throughout the day, which was is always reassuring when leaving him with a new sitter. Veysel was ready to greet us in the morning with his dog, and it was great to see they got along so quickly. Milo seemed to have a great day with him.
I've known Veysel well for 7+ years and have watched him interact with a variety of dogs in different settings over the years. He forms uncanny connections with his canine admirers. They immediately take a liking and attach to him, not only going for walks as easily with him as with their owners, but also taking disciplinary cues from him. The reason is clear: Veysel deeply connects with dogs and enjoys their company deeply. They feel it. When you meet him and experience his unassuming presence and warmth, you too will understand why.

I am studying remote and spending most of my time home, Meanwhile I go for a walk around Lake Merrit with Siggy almost every day. We would enjoy another friend to join us.
