I have a big heart for small dogs!

Hi, First off- I love animals of all kinds! I have been a foster parent for many rescued small dogs ( via PapHaven Rescue) and I have raised 2 sets of puppies. I live in Weatogue (a section of Simsbury) CT and have 2 Female Papillon dogs under 8 lbs of my own. We also have 1 laid-back Burmese cat that gets along fine and has his own spaces to go to when he wants to. I work from home so someone is around day and night. We have a small fenced in back yard and a closed-in deck to enjoy warm summer days (always with supervision, of course). We do not have children, and no-one in the home smokes. My girls are up to date on all their shots and I would expect yours to be also. I do not believe in yelling or punishing dogs and prefer to reward good behavior instead. I will treat your babies like family. I use the Rover.com service when I have to be away, so I understand Rover from both sides, as a customer and a provider and will treat you and your pet the way I would hope to be treated.

Vesta is truly awesome! After meeting her and her adorable dogs, I felt completely safe leaving my puppy with her. She is so obviously a Dog Person, who cares and treats her charges like they are a part of her family. In fact, life with Vesta would be so good , I wondered if my pup would even want to come back home with me! She is caring and thoughtful, and everything you could ever want from a pet nanny. My puppy had a terrific experience, and I would completely recommend her as a pet sitter. 5 STARS for Vesta!!!!!

Excellent experience! Vesta provided a safe, fun and caring environment for our fur child! Her update with pictures were most appreciated and eased our minds during time away.
Vesta was a wonderful caregiver for Molly. You can tell she is a dog lover and is very relaxed and kind. Molly was perfect when I picked her up and seemed at ease. Her home is set up nicely with a fenced in yard. She has two adorable Pomeranian dogs that Molly enjoyed being with. Over all this was a great experience and I would recommend Vesta.
