I’ve been caring for cats for the last 20 years and for dogs the last 9 years. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs of my own (all rescues). I’ve also taken care of animals for friends and family.

Vesna and I both teach at an elementary school here in Charlotte. When we first met, we immediately bonded over our love for animals! When we’re not talking fractions and decimals, we’re sharing pictures and stories of our fur babies. I have no doubt that your pet is in good hands as Vesna is competent, responsible and trustworthy. 🐾
Vesna is a true dog/cat mom to her two dogs and two cats, all of them rescues. That is why I never think twice about leaving my two cats in her care for weeks at a time when we are out of town. They love spending time with aunty Vesna while we are away. Besides being a pet lover she is a teacher at an elementary school, which I think says a lot about how dedicated and responsible a person she is. Choose her for your pet-sitting you will not be disappointed.
Vesna is the perfect pet sitter. We have had many people watch our cat over the years is she is far and away the best. She is loving and cares for your animal as if they are her own. She follows all directions you leave and goes above and beyond. We used her one Christmas break and she even brought over Christmas themed cat treats to celebrate with our cat on Christmas Day! I cannot recommend her enough!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own. The cats’ domain is upstairs (although one of them likes to hang out downstairs, too) and the dogs’ domain is downstairs. All my babies are rescues and are all seniors now. One of my dog’s has seizures so I am aware of how to care for animals that do experience seizures and I always make sure he has his medication on time. I know how important that is. My cats are on a special prescription food due to kidney issues and I follow that to a T. If your furry baby needs special care or love, I promise I will take that to heart and follow your instructions!

I prefer to know the basic information about the dog: age, weight, health and behavior concerns. I need to know what the dog likes and dislikes, how he/she responds to new people and new dogs.
A typical day
I will take the dogs for walks, play fetch with them, offer treats to reinforce positive behavior, and participate in any other activities that the dog likes.
