Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Véronique (you can call me Vee) and I am a dog lover who recently moved to the Toronto from the suburbs of the GTA. I have always lived with dogs and have experience caring for various breeds of different ages from puppy to senior. What has inspired me to care for pets is my recent experience fostering a rescue with very high behavioural and medical needs. Rover allowed me to know he was in trusted hands when I was away and I loved nothing more than walking around the High Park/Roncesvalles neighbourhood with my pup! I work from home and love the outdoors, so your pup will be getting a guaranteed 3 walks a day including walks in the park (and the off leash-dog park/trail with permission for non-reactive dogs). I have a car and am willing to pick up pets for an additional fee. I look forward to hearing from you & connecting soon!

Veronique was very sweet and took great care of Freddie. He seemed really happy and she kept us informed through lots of pics and videos.
Veronique was absolutely fantastic with my Labrador Gina . She has a natural connection with her and knows exactly how to cater to her specific needs (she’s quite an anxious girl). Veronique is patient, gentle, and always made sure Gina got plenty of exercise and playtime. Your dog will have a blast with her, she took care of my baby every Wednesday for a month while my husband and I adjusted our in-person work schedules. Definitely will be booking with her again!
Veronique is a great dog sitter and was able to take care of my dog for the week while I went away on vacation. I know her from a friend and I really recommend her as she’s been around dogs her entire life and it shows easily in her compassion and charisma around them. Thank you for your help!

I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment however I am steps away from High Park so you can rest assured your pup will be walked 3 times a day! I allow pets to free roam and am not opposed to cuddling with them on the bed or establishing boundaries with the bed and furniture. I expect pets to be house trained , I also have a large crate in my home for crate-trained dogs. I am open to caring for dogs with unique behavioural and medical needs.

Let me know about your pup, their needs and personality. As I live in an apartment I ask that your pup is not too vocal (I live in a quiet area) and that they are housetrained.
A typical day
A typical day with your pup will start with a long morning walk to High Park or the lakeshore. Pups are fed after the walk, then we will be relaxing until lunch when we’ll take a second short walk. Finally in the afternoon/evenings I enjoy having one last long walk in the park, possibly stop by the dog park and off leash trails and then head home for a final feeding.

Availability
I work remotely so I have a great amount of time to go out on walks and have fun with your pup! I have three walks a day: morning, lunch & evening.
