Pet care experience

I am a post secondary student studying my second degree in Political Science at Queen's university. I've surrounded my life with pets and animals since birth and have been able to learn to take care of dogs specifically by my aunt who trains dogs for competitions. I have also acquired experience cat sitting for friends and have stayed in their home or by coordinated check-ins. I am a responsible and extremely observant pet lover and have volunteered at the humane society in Kingston while in school. Besides my love for animals, I enjoy reading, writing, floral arranging, and health and wellness practices. I am a black belt in karate, have won medals from competitions, and I'm currently dabbling in boxing training. I'm also trying my hand at yogic and meditative practices as well! To top it off, I also enjoy great conversation and am friendly and understand the importance of calm when around pets. Thank you for considering me! :)

Veronica is awesome! We were travelling for 10 days in Europe and we were so lucky to have found her to take care of our 8 year old cat Pop. She is very trust worthy, responsible, caring, and very pleasant to communicate with! She sent me photos and updates every day, which is very reassuring! She is a patient and loving person and bonded with Pop quickly only after a couple of visits. More over we have a problematic sump pump, and she didn't mind taking care of it according to our instructions. This extra help gave us peace of mind, and we are really thankful, Veronica! We will definitely book with her again in the future!

This is the second time we booked Veronica to drop in on our cat Jericho. Even though there was an enormous internet outage while we were gone, Veronica still made it to Jericho and sent reassuring updates, photos and messages. I would definitely book with her again the next time Jericho needs looking after!

A typical day
I'm very mobile and I have a car so pet parks and off-leash parks are very accessible. I enjoy interacting with dogs and have no problem playing with it, but also understand if a dog wants to run freely in a controlled environment.
