Pet care experience
Hello! I am Veronica and I have been caring for other people's pets since I was 13 and I am now 24. I love animals all shapes, types, ages, and breeds. I have dog sat and house sat 7 dogs for 2 weeks straight before. 3 dachshunds, 2 english bulldogs, 1 poodle, and 1 bull mastif. I was told I could stay in the guest bedroom but I chose to sleep on the couch with all 7 pups piled on top of me because I knew they were lonely and missing their family. I also did 3x day check ups on them as well as staying the night with them. I just recently dog sat for an old labrador who had such bad hips he needed me to place each paw on stairs to re-enter the home. He was a cutie and I was patient with him and gave him much love. I have cat sat before and played with the cat or cats as well as making sure litter boxes were cleaned and food dishes were fresh. I have house sat many times and am a very reliable person. I will send check up photos to owners as well as text updates as requested. I have also administered medications for pets before. Any specific requests from owners for their pets I respect and follow. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. I have always been a rule follower and I respect the laws. I have never been involved in crime or traffic violations either. I also am a baby sitter from ages 0-any age. I have babysat since I was 14. I look forward to meeting any clients and thank you for the opportunity!

Veronica came for "drop ins" on "Rudy-the-cat", plus our Betta fish! She came promptly everyday for 4 days and made sure to send pics of her loving on our cat (as well as some pics of the fish?)! While it was just a drop in, she took the time to play with Rudy and even allow for some outside time. Veronica put our minds at ease that all the fur/fin babies in the house were well cared for. We will definitely be booking more time with this expert, "Rover pet lover" in the near future!! Thanks Veronica, 5 Stars for sure!
This was my first experience using Rover and I have to say, giving a stranger the key to your home and paying them to stay there with your furry babies (who are both elderly and need medicine) is a bit nerve wracking! I wanted to go on this trip so bad but at the same time, as the date grew nearer my anxiety grew higher. Then just a couple of days before we were to leave, I had an appointment for a "Meet and Greet" with Veronica. All my fears and anxiety vanished as we chatted and got to know each other a little. The next day, she came to our house to meet her charges. I could tell by the way she interacted with them and how quickly they took to her, that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Veronica followed all my instructions on the special feeding and medicine routines and took excellent care of my beloved pets! Thanks Veronica! Punkin and Bunny look forward to seeing you again!

A typical day
I love the outdoors and I am an athlete! If you want a walk or a run with your pet, you got it! I I can play ball or frisbee with your bet or whatever their favorite toy is and I know of local dog parks and trails for activities and walking.
