Hi I'm Veronica , I'm 23 ! I'm a Petcare Specialist and a proud Volunteer at the Humane Society . I enjoy working with animals and helping make sure they're happy and healthy. I've worked at the humane society for about a year now and I've been a petcare specialist for about 2 1/2 years. One of my main duties is walking the dogs , being sure they get the daily exercise and stretch they need all while having fun , running around, and having the opportunity to explore the many curiosities the outdoors has to offer . A few other duties I have as a Volunteer is cleaning up , making sure the Dogs have their food and water , are comfortable , and have everything they need . Alot of people know me to be a very quiet calming personality so it's a plus when meeting newer dogs or when i encounter a dog that's more on the timid side. Over the past year I've worked with small to medium dogs but I always enjoy working with dogs of all sizes . Small, medium, and large dogs are always welcomed! As a Petare Specialist I've taken care of a wide variety of Animals including Aquatic Animals , Reptiles, Birds , and Small Animals. My duties are to tend to food and water , make sure terrariums cages and aquariums are in perfect condition , and to make sure everything is set up properly to ensure all of the animals are happy and comfortable . I'm also responsible for administering the proper medications and Nursing sick animals back to health .
