Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for over a year and have roughly 15 clients in the area. I have a deep love for dogs and I am certified in “Knowing Dogs” 101 and 201 from the “Dog Gurus”. I can deliver medicine such as insulin and rectal medicine to cats and dogs. I have experience in working with multiple dogs at a time, cats, bunnies, snakes and rabbits. Also, I worked for Playful Pups Retreat, a doggy daycare in Elizabeth town for over a year. This place taught me how to read dog body language, work with puppies, and become rounded in every breed/size/energy level of dogs!

This was our first experience with Rover because our dog has a lot of anxiety . Veronica was very understanding about our concerns and came to our house to meet Abby before the sitting date. We felt comfortable leaving Abby under Veronica’s care and we will definitely hire her again .

Veronica is an outstanding dog sitter! It is just that simple. You can trust her to provide care that is kind, compassionate and skilled. She is an excellent communicator and was incredibly considerate of us and our home. We didn’t worry while we were gone and boy did she have her hands full as we have a Pitt/Lab mix, Am Staf/Lab/Rottie mix and a Great Dane. We came home to house that was as neat or neater then when we left and dogs that were happy and obviously well cared for. So thankful we found her!!!!!!!

I only work within others homes and have been providing this service for over a year! I typically prefer to stay the night as this ensures I can be with the animals at all times. I have many clients who come back to me more than once and I am quick to respond if you are in a crunch!

Please let me know if your dog receives any medication and is physically disabled. I have worked with diabetic dogs to blind dogs, so just give me a heads up! I also prefer to know if your furry friend experiences any leash reactivity (pulling, barking at other dogs, etc) as this will ensure a comfortable environment for both your dog and me!
A typical day
I love taking dogs that I sit to Lancaster Conservancy parks/hikes as they are insured and allow dogs (of course, depending on your dogs energy levels!). For some calmer dogs, I love a good cuddle and simply keeping your pup company!

I’m currently in the fall semester at Millersville University. My mornings and evenings are very open, but for walks during the day please ask! I am open for overnight pet sitting during the school year.
