Animals have always been a part of my life. My entire family (Parents, Grandparents, and Aunts) bred and showed greyhounds, so canine handling and care are second nature to me. In high school, I signed up for Veterinary Science at my schools technical center. There I learned about dog handling, health, grooming, and care. After graduation, I got a job at a vet clinic as an assistant and lived at a therapeutic horseback riding farm for special needs children. I met my border collie mix, Murphy, there and trained him to be a therapy dog for special needs children as well as war veterans suffering from PTSD. I've been a Vet Technician/Assistant for equine, small, and exotic animals. I have also volunteered for various kennels and canine rescue programs. Right now I'm a dog groomer apprentice at a private salon As you can see I have loved and cared for animals my whole life. I promise I will treat your dogs as if they are my own!
