Previous clients, please message me about availability for drop in visits.* As a companion to a dog full of energy of my own, I know how important it is to know your best furry friends are taken care of when life gets busy! I have been trusted to visit many kinds of cats and dogs over the years, from shy senior cats to Boxer puppies and Leonbergers! I also used to be a Shelter Volunteer for animal rescues in both Spokane (2012 - ‘13) and King County (2013 - ‘17) where I walked dogs, cleaned kennels, and looked after adoptable cats as well. As a very active person myself, I have the stamina to walk your dog however long he or she needs. As a former professional house cleaner, I also used to ensure the security of many customers’ companion animals while they were absent. As such, I also have no qualms about messes of any kind.

Veronica is AMAZING!! We were nervous to leave Ollie (a true quarantine cat who has never been alone for any extended period of time before) with a stranger, but Veronica was fantastic. She is so sweet and communicative and really put us at ease knowing Ollie was in good hands. Veronica was timely, friendly, and very responsive to messages. She followed our requests to a T and left very detailed notes about her visits. We loved the pictures she sent us every visit, and could tell that Ollie was comfortable around her. Will definitely be booking with Veronica again in the future!!

Preferably knowing about how dogs usually respond to children, strangers, and other dogs is very helpful. Also their typical feeding schedule and whether there are places in the home they should not be allowed (on furniture, in the kitchen, etc.)
A typical day
Safety is a number one priority, so I prefer to take dogs on walks on routes with the least amount of traffic. That being said, I am happy to take your companion to his or her favorite spot, whether it is a park to get their energy out or a flat trail where your senior friends can get their exercise without too much strain on their joints. I am also an excellent tug-of-war player and also love to teach dogs hide-and-seek.
