I am a total dog person. I grew up with dogs - a mutt, a cocker spaniel and a border collie - that I raised with my family until I moved out for college. In addition to being the primary caregiver for the family dog, I have volunteered as a dog walker and socializer at animal shelters. I'm used to walking dogs of all ages and sizes - plus I always have poop bags on hand. I'm a calm person and enjoy long walks, playing fetch and getting lots of exercise. I'm not a big fan of dog parks but love one-on-one time with dogs. I am also a huge supporter of the adopt-don't-shop movement and volunteer my time as a photographer at local animal shelters.
