Hi! I have been working in private homes as a Nanny, Housesitter, and Petsitter for over 15 years. I have experience taking care of a variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, chameleons, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and birds. I'm Pet CPR/First Aid Certified. In addition to Petsitting, I've fostered cats through the Cleveland APL and I’m a volunteer dog walker at City Dogs. I’ve also had to opportunity to take several classes with shelter dogs on basic manners and reactivity using positive reinforcement. I have two cats of my own that I adopted through the Cleveland APL, one of which was a foster fail. They don’t like me to be away for too long so I only do overnight stays for 2-3 nights at a time.

This was our first time using Rover and we had such a great experience with Veronica! She came over to meet our dog a day before we left which was much appreciated. She has a ton of dog experience and it was great to know our anxious pup was in good hands while we were away :) we were so happy to get pictures and updates throughout the day too!
Veronica is fantastic! She’s trustworthy and an excellent communicator. She was great with our senior dog, and went above and beyond when he had a medical issue come up while she was watching him. I definitely recommend her services! ??

A typical day
Aside from walks, playtime and cuddles, I’m happy to work on any new commands they are learning. I can also give them food puzzles and other enrichment if needed.

Availability
I’m available Thursday through Sunday for drop in visits and walks and my schedule is flexible those days. I'm unavailable Monday- Wednesday unless otherwise noted on my calendar.
