Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I can remember. Growing up I had bunnies, cats, birds, goats, mice, rats and lizards. My mom told me that when I was a toddler I would run up to any dog throw my arms around them and laugh as they licked my face. So pretty much nothing has changed😝 . I am a responsible, caring and a loving dog owner. I guess you can say I’m an overprotective dog mom. Charlee is my senior chiweenie but I treat him like a my baby 😂 I always make sure he is safe and healthy.

Verona was so great with Gracie! Her set up is perfect with a small yard where your doggie can enjoy some SD sunshine. Verona was so accommodating and super communicative. It really made my weekend trip so much easier knowing that my Gracie was well taken care of and absolutely enjoying her doggie slumber party ???

I have a fenced patio area and we have a large gated yard that the pups can run around and play in supervised. We have security cameras as well. I do live in a triplex because I share a wall with two other tenants I cannot accept any dogs with separation anxiety or that bark excessively. I understand most dogs have anxiety when they are at a new place and usually adapt after a day.

I prefer a meet and greet for dogs staying more than one night. Please let me know what needs your dog may have so I can make sure I can meet those needs. If those needs cannot be met I will let you know so you can find another sitter that’s best suited for your pet! For example does your pet have separation anxiety? Is your pet potty trained? Does your pet have tons of energy would they enjoy going on a run or longer walks? Do they lunge at other dogs on walks? Can your pet be let off leash at dog beaches? Etc.
A typical day
We usually go on our long walks early in the morning to Morley field or I drive us to Balboa Park. It really depends on the dogs energy. In the afternoons we sometimes go to one of the beaches or the park depending on the heat. If the sidewalks are too hot we just go to the yard for a quick pee and play. Throughout the day we like to hang out on the patio where it’s partially shaded and we take potty breaks in gated yard. In the evenings we usually take a walk around the neighborhood.
