Pet care experience
I have a little over a year of experience watching dogs. I have been dog sitting several of my friends dogs and cats when they need to go out of town. As well as for my roommate when he heads out of town for work or cons, I take care of his two cats. I have also helped out on jobs with fellow dog walkers and sitters. I find taking care of animals to be very rewarding. I do work full-time and at night I do comedy. A lot of my shows don't start till later on in the day so I'll have great amounts of time to spend with your animal before and after.

Vernon is a responsible, no nonsense, yet fun guy. Animals know this and are drawn to him. I never hesitate to ask him to help me out with my four legged friends. He has helped me with sitting and drop-ins with both cats and dogs, and has always been super great with them. Vernon will take great care of your dog(s).
Before Vernon moved, he was one of the few people I would trust to take care of my dog, Lucy. Lucy was leash aggressive toward other dogs and prone to trying to escape. Vernon was able to handle her with ease and she loved being around him. I knew I could count on Vernon to take care of my girl as well as she deserved, which was incredibly comforting when I needed to leave her home when I was traveling to a dog-unfriendly place. Vernon is a great caregiver and a responsible, trustworthy person.

Before sitting a dog I'd like to know if the dog is house trained at all. Also, knowing that every dog has a different personality, I'd like to know how the dog deals with strangers and other dogs. Like to know if the dog is a jumpy or just laid back animal.
A typical day
I would take the dog on walks around the neighborhood. I need to be more familiar with the neighborhood and it's nice to have a companion along for the ride. If the owner knows that the dog is comfortable with other dogs, then I'll take it to the dog park to play with the other dogs and maybe play a game a fetch.
