I have always had dogs of many breeds and I care for my children’s dogs when needed. The worst part of being a pet owner is when you have to put your senior dog down due to illness and those dogs are your family. The pain never ceases.

I own two dachshunds. They can go in and out of our home as they please. They are on a schedule and know when it is 5a or 5p and tell you it’s time to eat. I’ve never walked another’s dog but recently retired and just want something to do.
