Empty pet nester missing cat love
Pet care experience
Most of my life I have had pets. In January of 22, ago our beautiful black cat died, and I am missing the companionship immensely. We travel frequently, so we have decided to remain petless for the time being. I would love to give the same love to your pet as I gave to our Judo.

Vera was very caring and conscientious in sitting for our 15-year-old cat. She dropped in our home two times per day to feed and administer medication but she also spent more time with him petting and “talking” to him each visit. She texted pictures and notes about how he was doing. She even left us a sweet card and note about how much she enjoyed taking care of him, especially because he reminded her of her previous cat. She is obviously a real animal lover and made us feel so much more comfortable about leaving him. We highly recommend Vera for pet care.

We kept our cats indoors only, but we have a great screened in deck where they could watch the birds and squirrels. If in your home, I would prefer indoor only to avoid worry. I love walking, so if I am dog sitting, they would get plenty of exercise!!
Information Vera M. would like to know about your pet
I recently cared for a dog who required a daily dose of gabapentin and wore braces on his front legs. I would not feel qualified for injections or subq fluids.
A typical day
I love to walk! Our neighborhood is my primary stomping grounds, but I would happily load your pup and to walk at Washington Park! Full disclosure, I am not tolerant of bitter cold, so wintertime sits requiring outside walks would not be desirable.

I am retired, so my availability is frequent and flexible except when traveling. I can do drop ins or provide overnight care. May also consider providing care in our home.
