Pet care experience
I have cared for many pets in my lifetime, mine and other people's. One thing I know is that dogs never lie about love. They give it and accept it with joy. Even timid dogs I have cared for respond positively to affection and patience. I volunteer for rescue organizations and have served on the board for the Humane Society of Marion County. I am at the dog park everyday it is open and have learned much about canine behavior and their interactions between other dogs and humans. It has helped me recognize when they are having fun, when they are fearful, when they are tired and so much more I'm a retired RN, taught dog CPR and first aid. Put simply I just LOVE dogs!

I dont leave my sweet goldendoodle Brandy unless i have no choice. When i do, I know that she is going to have an adventure of her own. Venetia will treat her as if she lived there all the time. They go for walks, snuggle on the couch, go to the dog park and play.... When i return for her, she is always happy and content. Venetia fills me in with cute stories and pictures of their adventures. It is So comforting to know that Venetia is going to take such good care of Brandy while i am out of town. Venetia loves her "puppies" and it clearly brings her such joy. I can truly travel with freedom and joy because i know Brandy is as happy as i am! Thanks Venetia. Thanks for my peace of mind!!!

Venetia is the best when it comes to being a caregiver. She has a huge heart and showers her love on her own and any other dogs she meets. I have had the pleasure of having Venetia care for my dog Sweetie Pie and boy does her tail wag when she sees Venetia! Venetia has years of owning and caring for dogs as well as retiring from a career in nursing. So if you want to be able to leave your four legged loved one for a day, night or week and feel comfortable knowing that he/she will be safe, loved and happy then let Venetia board them. Will take care of any small or medium breed. Will accept Golden Retrievers regardless of size. Need to know if they are potty trained or use pads. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS regardless of size. MUST get along with other dogs. Dogs must be up to date with shots,flea control and heartworm preventative.
A typical day
Walks, indoor and outdoor play, lots of affection, interaction with another dogs, cuddling, sleeping on my lap and if desired I will take them to the dog park. My subdivsion has common areas for dogs.
