Pet care experience
We believe dogs should receive extra love and care. We had two golden retrievers, but they are no longer with us. Our last dog joined the dogs in Heaven on 9/21/2022. She taught me so much -especially how amazing dogs are! It is important to listen to them and pay attention to their unique mannerisms. She was with us all the time unless we traveled or worked. We know how it is when you need someone who you want to trust and care for your fur baby girl/boy when you are away or need unexpected dog care. A piece of mind is crucial. We are responsible and care about dogs - small and large! We believe dogs make people a better person. They are family. We have a large fenced gated lot with lots of love to give. We are always available for a meet & greet. :)

Venessa and Brad took such great care of our aging dog. They went above and beyond to make sure our 15-year old dog was comfortable and adjusted to their schedule. I know she was a handful and they treated her as they would their own dog. Venessa was great about sending updates and pictures. We can't thank them enough!
Vanessa and Bradley were so amazing! They treat our dog as their own. Also they would send us daily updates on Kenai day with pictures.
Brad & Venessa took WONDERFUL CARE of our sweet lab, Atlas, while we were out of town for several days. This was Atlas’ first extended stay without us and Brad & Venessa kept his “normal” routine to help him adjust to their home and pup. Atlas made a fast friend in Honey, their golden retriever. We were sent updates and pictures frequently to let us know how Atlas was doing and the activities he was enjoying with Honey. Both Brad and Venessa were courteous and their home was clean and very dog friendly. We couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely be relying on them for care in the future! Venessa was great with Barlee and Chance. She was so accommodating late last minute. Heading to meet her for the first time and to stay overnight the closer we got to the house the more anxious my dogs were. She greated us outside and they ran up to her as if they already knew her. We were introduced to Honey her beautiful golden. They settled immediately and didn't look back when I left. She sent enough pictures and kept me updated. I had no worries. I'm sure they can't wait to come back. Thanks Venessa!!

We have a large gated yard, child pool for the dog, cemented area and artificial grass. We also have an XL dog crate, only if needed. There are no weeds (goat heads) that the dog can get into.

I would like to meet your dog prior to dog sitting so we are all more at ease with the dog being cared for by a new human. And I have an emergency contact sheet to be completed prior to dog sitting.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and enjoy playing ball or squeaky toys with dogs. I learned how important it is to let the dog become comfortable in an unfamiliar area and help the dog to relax. I really enjoy talking to the dog to let him/her know it will be ok and will give lots of petting and scratching (after I hear what the dog loves).

We are not working right now and are available everyday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and other hours if needed. We are in the Foothills area.
