My family includes a golden retriever mix named Pal, who has been with us for 12 years. Also a pug named Lucas, who was inherited by our household when his owner died last year. They frequent our couches and hang out and watch TV with the gang. They are walked for a mile or more each day. They receive their meals and water immediately after their walks.
