Reviews

Veena and dog Pluto immediately welcomed Ace; he liked both of them and ran around the yard with Pluto. Ace made himself at home and even managed to get a new toy out of the visit.

Veena house-sat for two nights to care for my three dogs and cat. I feel very comfortable to have her as my sitter and will be using her for my upcoming needs! When one of my dogs bolted out the front door, Veena spent nearly 5 hours in the heat to get her safely back inside, staying calm and trying numerous techniques. She kept me updated the entire time. One of my dogs has limited mobility. Veena would carry him outside and gently hold him up so he could use the bathroom, then bathed him so he’d be clean and comfortable when I returned. Soiled mats were laundered as well. She also administered medications, sent regular photo and video updates, and gave all my pets genuine affection and care. Amazing care—I highly recommend her!
Veena M. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Veena was very nice and took good care of our dog. But I would *never* use her to watch our dog again. We had booked her well in advance of a holiday weekend when we were traveling for my mother's wake. We met her two prior to let our dogs get used to each other. Then 2 hours before we were due to drop our dog off she texted me to tell me that Rover quoted a price that was not what she charges for energetic puppies and she would require $20 more per day. At that point I had no choice but to agree since I had no time to find someone else. She knew for 2 weeks how energetic he was and had plenty of to tell me about the price change. The fact that she waited until 2 hours prior was so shady. Total bait and switch. Would definitely avoid booking with her.

Information Veena M. would like to know about your pet
The preference is animals that are friendly with humans and other dogs. But let me know your specific situation and I'm sure I can make it work. I have multiple rooms for if a cat needs to be on its own for a while as an example, and we can work things out however needed.
A typical day
A Typical Day With Me I have years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels—including puppies who need frequent potty breaks, seniors needing medication or special diets, and everything in between. Here’s what a day with me typically looks like for your furry family member: 1. Morning Routine • Early breakfast, with any special dietary needs or medications administered as requested. • A refreshing morning walk around the neighborhood or a romp in my fenced backyard (every 2 hours for potty breaks and playtime). 2. Play & Socializing • Constant play and interaction with me and my friendly dog (and housemates, if your pup enjoys extra attention). • Indoor time in a comfortable, climate-controlled home (central AC and heat), with plenty of toys, bones, and treats if allowed. • I encourage mental stimulation with puzzle toys and training games—especially beneficial for high-energy or curious dogs. 3. Afternoon Activities • Another walk or supervised backyard free-roam session. • Lots of one-on-one attention, cuddles, and pet massages to keep them happy and relaxed. • Quiet downtime or crate rest (if that’s part of their usual routine) to ensure they get a break from play. 4. Evening Fun • Dinner time with any specific feeding instructions followed to the letter. • A trip to the local park for off-leash time if allowed and safe. Otherwise, a longer evening walk or jog for exercise. 5. Nighttime Routine • Your dog can sleep in the same room with me, and if they’re allowed, even on my bed for extra snuggles. • If they’re reliably house-trained, they can roam freely overnight. Otherwise, we can follow whatever sleeping arrangement you prefer (crate, dog bed, etc.). 6. Additional Services • Bathing and Grooming Trips: I’m happy to give baths or transport to a groomer if arranged. • Medication Administration: Comfortable giving oral meds, applying ointments, or following a vet-recommended schedule. • Special Needs: If your dog has anxiety, medical conditions, or mobility issues, I’m well-versed in adapting routines to keep them safe and comfortable. Throughout the day, I’ll provide lots of love, supervision, and regular updates (photos, texts) so you can feel confident knowing your dog is in good hands. My goal is to make each pup feel right at home, whether they’re here for a day of play or an extended boarding stay!

I have an 8 year old friendly dog that I have raised, so pet care is part of my daily routine. I raised 2 cats for about the same time and they're now living with my mom. I work from home & have housemates that enjoy pets as well, so your fur baby is well tended to and has company around the clock!
