Pet care experience
I am the go to person for my friend's pets and have been since moving to Austin. Their pets are sad to see them go but always excited when I come to visit. Dogs like me because I will play tug of war, fetch, and give ample belly rubs and walks. Cats like me because I let them decide how they want to interact. I take feeding and medication instructions seriously and love to send pet pics to owners. I live with a 20lb pug and regularly sit for a 100lb mastiff and so am very comfortable with many breeds and temperaments. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or special requests. I have a flexible schedule and live centrally and so can make multiple visits per day if needed. I am a mental health therapist in Austin, but spend my free time exploring swimming holes and hiking trails. If that is something your dog is into let me know! Vaughn was very communicative the entire time she was at our house with Charlie. She was our first Rover sitter and we could not have been impressed. Charlie is very anxious, but she took the time to learn about his anxiety before we left, asked good questions and made sure to do things that helped him relax. She took him on walks and played with him quite a bit in the backyard. I feel so much better knowing that Charlie can stay home while we're gone because we found such a great sitter in Vaughn :)
Vaughn is a great pup sitter (and kitty too!) I can always count on Vaughn to show up on time and spend quality time with my pets when I am traveling. Sometimes she will even stay over when I am gone for a long period of time. My dog loves her and my cat, who hates everyone, also loves her! So, in my pets eyes, she's a keeper! If you are looking for a reliable pet sitter, look no further! It's a plus that animals love her too. They can sense good people.
Vaughn has watched my dog numerous times. I highly recommend her. She sends me several photos of my little guy every day. She pays attention to detail and checks in with me any time something seems off with Klaus. She has a very calming demeanor, which puts Klaus at ease any time I leave him with her.
