Pet care experience
I love animals and have had cats all my life. My dad was a huge cat lover and seems to have passed that down to my sister and me as well. I have two cats of my own and have been unofficially cat sitting for my community for the past three years. I have a few regulars I sit for. I enjoy getting to know cats and their varied personalities, I find them fascinating. I currently live with one very social cat and one super shy cat, so I have an understanding of what kind of attention different cats require. I go out on my way to take care of cats depending on what their personalities need and dictate

This was the second time that Varshini looked after our cats while we were away. Once again, she took great care of them and sent us detailed updates throughout. I am especially grateful to her for being super flexible and accommodating some last minute changes. Thank you, Varshini!
Varshini was an incredible cat sitter for my 7 month and 5 month old kittens. She visited twice daily during my vacation, fed them wet food each time, played with them, changed the litter, and send dozens of fun photos of two happy kittens, who were obviously well cared for and happy. 10/10! Will definitely invite her back next time.
Varshini is a great cat sitter. She knows a lot about cats and truly cares about them. While we were away, communication was great - she sent us lots of photos and detailed updates. I would definitely use her services again.

I appreciate detailed instructions from the cat’s guardian telling me everything I need to know about the cat so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. They will still miss having their favorite human beings around but I do everything I can to cater to their needs and wants. I also have experience with giving medication to cats that require it.

Please let me know if your cat is up to date on their vaccinations! Do inform me if they have ever known to carry the feline herpes virus - it's not an issue, but I will need to take a bit more care being around them. It will be helpful to know if the cat has any bad habits/ guilty indulgences that I should keep an eye out for ( for example - one of my cats likes to chew on crinkly plastic), if they have any special foods or medications, and what flea and tick treatment they are on! P.S. If you don't usually give them flea and tick meds but are having a pet sitter visit them, I'd recommend giving them meds for that month!
A typical day
Some cats like to play, some cats like to snuggle and some need you to just respect their space! I like to play it by ear and cater to the cats depending on their personality and what mood they are in on that day. I like to let the cat dictate how close he or she wants to get to me and how fast - it's only fair!
