Now I know the first thing that everyone mentions here is their childhood pet but let me tell ya, growing up with my dog provided me with many branches of valuable pet-care experience. First of all, I have absolutely no prejudice against any dog breeds. I will shower your dog in love and affection (if it lets me). Here are the skills I've acquired through the trials and tribulations of raising my very first dog Darla as well as past pet-sitting experience: administering medication/treatments, recognizing odd behavior/injuries/signs of sickness, providing the appropriate/required amount of entertainment and exercise, facilitating interactions between other pets and owners, reinforcement of training, and constant supervision. * Please regularly check your fur babies for fleas, ticks, rashes & injuries. Vannessa was outstanding! She took our reservation on short notice and was so great with Pepper. We got photos of the visit and Pepper was able to roam freely in Vannessas home. If we were local to Santa Cruz we would definitely use her again!

It would be very helpful to know a bit about the dog's personality, behavior I should be aware of, training (if any), anxiety/stress issues, and any other information that can help me provide a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable environment for your pet. If your pet is staying over night, I must ask that he/she be bathed before drop off and it is preferred if your dog gets along with other dogs. I will not accept dogs who don't have current flea protection. Please check your pet regularly for fleas.
A typical day
I like to switch up walking destinations because who doesn't get tired of the same routine? I'd be happy to drive your dog to the beach, a hiking trail, or simply walk them around the block. Whatever you as an owner are comfortable with! I make use of all the toys and treats provided for the dog. If nothing is provided, you can rest assured that your dog will still be entertained and exercised (e.g. fetching stick, running, dog park, etc.).
