Pet care experience
I am a full time Respiratory therapist who is looking to have a bit of a side job doing what I love the most. I take care of people for my job and would love to also take care of animals. I travel for work and need something to take up my time when I’m off of a contract or simply just have extra time on my hands. I love all pets. I am also willing to take care of whatever other animals/reptiles/birds/etc. that you have in the home. Just mention it upfront and I can let you know how much extra it would be. I’ve had family pets since I was a small child, and have had roommates with cats and dogs for many years. P.S. I love cleaning. If you book me to pet sit, I can also clean for an extra fee! Price will depend of area and depth of clean. Just ask when you’re booking and get a 2n1 deal.

Vanessa was amazing! We travel quite a bit and have had many different sitters stay in our home with our cats. One of our cats is very shy and has generally stayed in hiding through the duration of the housesits. We were so thrilled to see that both of our cats, including the shy one, warmed up to Vanessa within just a couple of days. One of them was following her around on the very first day and the other one was cuddling her in bed shortly after. We were sent adorable pics to prove it! Such a relief. I had a great feeling about her from the moment I met her and I am so pleased she was able to watch our fur babies during our travel!!
Vanessa was friendly and prompt with her appointment to watch the dogs. We asked her to show up earlier and she had no problem with our request. We will definitely ask her to watch our fur babies again. Thank you so much.
Vanessa was fantastic!!! She responded to my inquiry right away, was super responsive to questions, and was able to take my booking last minute. She took great care of my animals, and even washed my quilt after my cat puked on it ?. I’m so glad I found her!
Vanessa is a true pet lover. She loves all kinds, and is so gentle and loving with every pup she has met. She has taken great care of my English bulldog, feeding, loving, and even taking her on little road trips. She also sends updates, and pictures when my pup is in her care. She is a great option when looking for someone to care for your fur baby!

I will respect the rules that you have set in place for your fur babies, I’m wonderful at interpreting behaviors and body language of animals, and I would love to go on walks or hikes with your pets! I used to volunteer at the animal shelter and walk dogs so they could get some outside time. I unfortunately did have to deal with some rowdy and poorly trained pups during that time but it taught me a lot about dog behaviors.

I am a medical professional and have no problem administering medications to animals if needed. I always prefer to do a meet and greet before a booking so I can ask questions and get to know everything I need too for it to go smoothly
A typical day
I love to participate in playtime with pets. I have no problem adhering to owner preferences. I will always be willing to snuggle the animals that want to, but will never force affection on them if they prefer a more distant approach.

Availability
I try to be as flexible as possible. However, I do work 12 hour shifts each time that I work. I work three 12s a week, and each week is different when it comes to what days I work. Send me a message and I will let you know what my more specific availability is.
