As long as I have known Vanessa eight years, she has always been an animal lover. She had a cat named Mr king who she adored dearly. Vanessa had Mr king for four years before he passed. Vanessa than found her dog sapphire on the street and rescued her when she was a puppy. Vanessa and sapphire were inseparable, where ever Vanessa went sapphire went. Sapphire was cared for by Vanessa for six years. Last year 2016 Vanessa was than heart broken by news from the vet that sapphire had cancer. Vanessa than made the decision to get surgery to try to save sapphire's life by removing the cancer. Vanessa saved check after check to save up for the surgery. Thirteen hundred dollars later sapphire was back home with Vanessa. A month later she recieved more bad news the cancer was not going to go away and at any moment sapphire may have died. Vanessa was than devastated. For as long as I known Vanessa I have never seen her as heart broken as she was that day. Vanessa took sapphire home fed her everything a dog could ever want, stood up all night with her untill the next day she had to put sapphire to rest. I went with her that day it was the most emotional state I have ever witnessed Vanessa in. She cried for hours and hours day's and night's. Vanessa told me she does not want to get another dog because she does not want to replace sapphire. Any chance Vanessa get she tries to fill her heart with other family members dogs playing and showing love to their dogs. Vanessa's dog was her everything she was family. With all of that being said Vanessa is whole heartedly a dog lover.
