Vanessa was very responsive when I reached out to book doggie day care, and flexible with schedule and timing. During the day of the doggie day care, I didn’t get any updates. When my schedule changed in the afternoon and I reached out to check in and say that I could pick up Twig a little early, I got no response from Vanessa for over 2 hours. Over the course of two hours I messaged her 6 times, called her twice and went to her house and rang her door bell twice to pick up my dog and got no reply. Finally I buzzed her doorbell a third time and her Roomate answered and went and woke up Vanessa - she was fast asleep. It was half an hour past when I said to feed my dog dinner, so not sure how much more time would have gone past dinner had I not woken her up. I hate to write a review stinging someone for taking a nap (especially since that’s exactly the perfect type of person for my little old doggie) but for me, the no update during the day, the lack of response/ communication for over two hours, and her not getting dinner on time doesn’t work for me. Twig was not mistreated, it’s just that for what I was looking for, Vanessa was not the right fit for me.

Vanessa has such a way with dogs! Our puppy is kind of shy, but she LOVES Vanessa. She’s communicative and kind, and I’d recommend her for all of your dog walking needs!!
