Pet care experience

I am a retired Flight attendant and about as risk free and responsible as they come. Also, I am fully vaccinated and I always play it safe. Hopefully, I can help out those who need boarding, doggie day care, or cat care. You can drop your dog off for a few hours, all day, or overnight. ( see services for fee). These services are for dogs under 15 lbs and they must heel somewhat when being walked. I can also come to your house after our meeting and interview. If you have cats, I can do house and cat sitting overnight or just drop in visits to feed, water, play with, give medications, brush, etc. If you have larger dogs (up to 40lbs) that do not require walking, I can let them in and out (if you have a fenced in backyard) play with them, exercise, feed, water, meds, etc. Otherwise, if they need walking I need to stick to the under 15 lbs. I have unfortunately, put my Bichon/ Maltese of 16 years down about 2 years ago. She had a collapsed trachea and some heart issues and was starting to have high risk seizures at 16. Hence, I am familiar with elder dogs and giving them medications. Before Maddie I had a female golden who lived to be 15 and 1/2. I have also owned two cats over my lifetime. I live in an apartment in a nice neighborhood. We have a nice shady area to walk around overlooking Bay Hills Golf Course. If your dog is a dog Park Fan Broadneck dog park is about three minutes away. Maddie loved to be chased around the house and I had great hiding places that gave her the mind/ body work out, also hid tiny treats around the house that she would have to find...lol. Again, I’ll accept dogs 15 pounds and under. House trained, or pee pad, (yes, I know there may be an accident,) shots up to date, no fleas (must be on flea and tick prevention) and friendly, are always welcome. Thank you for your interest and let me know if I can help you out.

Vanessa was fantastic to work with. She arrived promptly, kept me updated on my pup Morgan with pics and notes. I’m felt very comfortable having Vanessa house/dog sit. Would highly recommend here. Patty

Duke our papillon was right at home. He took to Vanessa instantly. This was Duke's first time with any pet sitter, and it could not have gone more perfect. Thank you, Vanessa!!

Vanessa is kind and very loving to our very spoiled elderly dog! It means the world to us. She goes above and beyond when it comes to playtime on the floor (more than we do!), taking her for walks and talking to her, even though our little dog is now almost deaf! We received lots of great photos and updates over the weekend which really helped alleviate any (unnecessary) worries We will definitely be booking with Vanessa again!

Information Vanessa R. would like to know about your pet

Just have notes for me as to your dog's or cats likes and dislikes, eating and sleeping habits and overall personality. You can provide their vets name, number, address, food, treats, beds (if they use them), medicines and favorite toys. If you forget anything I probably have it here at the house. :)

A typical day

Your dog will receive the same attention and care I gave my dog. Know all about separation anxiety, my dog for sure, had it. :) So I will do all I can to put your's at ease. Nice, safe, shady, neighborhood to walk around in. Dog park 3 minutes away. Maddie also liked to walk downtown and have lunch or dinner with me at outside cafes. Your dog is welcome on any outings weather permitting, if you are comfortable with that.
