“A dog is the only creature on earth who loves you more than he loves himself.” Anyone who has ever loved a dog knows this to be true. My 15 years of experience working with, owning and caring for dogs has shown me just that. I lost my beloved 13 year old pit bul, Snoop, 2 years ago (tomorrow, July 3 actually). I have spent hours upon hours walking, playing with, and observing the behavior of dogs. I love them :) So if you need walking or drop in care, let me know! Open availability until August 14, then I work with children with special needs at Mariposa Elementary school and will be available in the afternoon, evening and on weekends. Thanks so much, Vanessa

Vanessa did a wonderful job sitting for our two pups- Maple & Moose. She updated us frequently and communicated well. The photos she sent confirmed that they were having a great time with their new friend. :-)
I’m Vanessa’s mother. Her love and concern for the well being of animals and insects began when she was very young. Saving worms from getting run over on her way to the school bus stop - Bringing home baby birds that were caught in the school volleyball net and raising them to fledglings. Vanessa has always had a special connection to the cats we had while she was growing up and especially tothe dogs she has had. She knows how to relate to dogs and somehow they understand and respond to her in a very positive way. There is no doubt that she would be an excellent and loving care taker for any animal.
Vanessa has always been an animal lover. She puts animals first, before herself! She is very dependable and has a lot of experience with animals. She has been known to care for strays. She walked dogs while living in NYC. She understands dog psychology. If you want a reliable, caring person to care for your pets, I assure you that Vanessa should be your number one choice!
