Pet care experience
Hi there! Feel at ease while I care for your fur babies as I have 2.5 years of experience at an exotic animal shelter and also used to work at a dog/cat veterinary clinic for 1.5 years. There is no exotic pet I will say no to and I’ve walked dogs as small as a Chihuahua to as large as an Irish Wolfhound. For pets with any health issues, I’m comfortable giving oral and/or injectable medications. Ask me about my code for $20 off your first rover booking! Animals I have experience with: - dogs/cats - parrots - chinchillas - sugar gliders - rats - ferrets - rabbits - pigs - hedgehogs - snakes - lizards - tortoises - frogs - tarantulas I have availability for walks/drop-ins during the week. I like to have my weekends off but I am flexible with accommodating the occasional dog walk or drop-in when my clients go away for the weekend or a vacation. I am always excited to greet your pets right away as soon as I come in and give them lots of love. I always arrive during the agreed time frame and never bring any guests over without your permission. I take my shoes off in your home and try to keep it as clean as possible (drying off dogs after a rainy walk, vacuuming spilled litter, cleaning up if your pet has an accident, etc.)

Sensitivities to specific ingredients? - Is your dog food motivated? Should I be watching for things they put in their mouth on walks? - Is your dog high energy and would like to jog with me rather than walk? - Does your pet have any favourite toys we can play with? - Does your dog tend to pull on walks? If they are stubborn, any tricks to get them to walk? - Does your dog need to be fed their lunch/dinner before/after our walk? - Do you have special gear for inclement weather (rain coat/snow coat/boots/towels)? - Are you comfortable with me taking your dog to the dog park? And if so, is there any other information I should know about their behaviour and interacting with other dogs off leash?
A typical day
If your dog is very high energy and active, I love to take my client's dogs on jogs with me around their neighbourhood. If your dog prefers to walk at a slower pace, I take my time and make sure they're able to sniff every tree and fire hydrant. For drop-in visits, I give your pets lots of love whether it's playing with their favourite toy or cuddling on the couch.
