Pet care experience
I’ve had a family dog since I was born. I got my own dog about 2 years ago and she’s very spoiled. I live in an apartment. My dog loves other dogs too. My dog is very entergetic I am a student at Iowa State University, so I have a set, but somewhat flexible schedule. I have lots of breaks in between classes. I am willing to send my class schedule to those interested. I love all dogs, no matter the shape, size, or age. I will be in Ames over the summer working in the DNA facility on campus. I am a very kind and compassionate person when it comes to animals. I will follow all instructions given to me by the dog parent(s).

Vanessa has been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. She provides excellent care for her dog, Jetta. From making homemade dog food so her dog has a healthy diet to providing a cooling dog bed and an abundance of toys, she loves to spoil her pup!
I can't think of a better person to watch your canine friend then Vanessa!! She is a dog-owner/lover herself, and is very attentive to the needs of her pet. She is gentle and patient with every dog she meets, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. She is trustworthy and friendly, and the first person I would call to watch my own pets!!
Vanessa is a wonderful person. She is absolutely fantastic with both of dogs. They love her so much and she keeps them happy and well groomed.
Vanessa is great with dogs and cats. She loves all animals. My dog loves it when he sees her and she takes him for a walk he gets so excited.

A typical day
There are lots of sidewalks in Ames and a dog park I’m willing to go to. If the dog likes to play fetch I will definitely play fetch with them. My dog is never in her crate more than 2 hours.
