Pet care experience
I’ve been helping take care of dogs since I was 10 years old and have owned a dog (Luna) for 5 years now! I work from home full time and my husband and I foster dogs from the shelter when we can in our free time! Dogs are more than welcome on our couch, in our bed, and whatever else they need to make our home feel comfortable for them while you’re away. We don’t have a yard, but our neighborhood is fully fenced in and we take all dogs on lots of walks a day.

This is the second time Vanessa and Jake have watched my puppies. They did a great job taking care of them! I love how I’m always getting so many updates and seeing how happy my dogs are when they visit. Vanessa and Jake are awesome!
Vanessa and Jake were amazing with Lulu. I got updates everyday and she looked so happy in each one. Their dog, Luna, is a sweetheart and really tired Lulu out. I knew she was in good hands with them and I will absolutely use their services again.
Vanessa was so fantastic with my puppies. She always sent updates and made sure to follow my instructions. She also never left them alone, which I appreciated because my dogs are so needy! I would rebook Vanessa and Jake in the future.
Could not be happier with our experience with Vanessa and Jake. We have a dog who has anxiety and some tricky rescue dog quirks, and they were extremely patient and good with her. Lots of pictures and updates throughout her stay. Could not be happier with Lucy’s stay, and will definitely be booking again!

We are used to having dogs straight from the shelter in our home so having them explore the environment and adjust is second nature to us! As long as they are dog friendly for our resident pup Luna, we welcome any dog!

A typical day
The day begins as it always should: with lots of cuddles! We treat dogs like our children so they are welcome in the bed with us (if they prefer it over their own bed or crate). Then we’ll go on our morning potty walk before settling in for a day of play and snoozes. I work from home full time so puppies have reign of the house while I work. We have a grass covered patio area for them to go outside and lots of toys for them to play with. I usually take them on 5-6 walks a day for potty and exercise.

Availability
I currently work from home full time, so someone will be with your dog almost 24/7. When we are away, we put the dogs away in the second bedroom so crate trained is not necessary as long as they are non-destructive
